Welcome to Mount Sterling First United Methodist Church
Worship service time is 10:15am
We are a casual congregation in the United Methodist tradition. Our services are blended with traditional hymns and praise songs. Some Sundays you will experience the voices of our choir or the rings of our hand bells.
Every Sunday you will hear the gospel of Jesus proclaimed in a loving way that will invite you to think, we don’t want you to check your brain at the door
First UMC has intentionally made the decision to stay United Methodist so that all people know they are welcome to attend

We have a specific focus on Jesus as our Lord and Savior and desire that all people come to trust and have faith in Christ Jesus. We invite you to come as you are, worship as you are, and cooperate with God for a transformational life experience.
About Us
Rev. Joshua Andrews is our appointed pastor and has been with us since January 2023. Pastor Josh’s passion is to teach scripture in a relevant way and bring a message of hope in Christ Jesus for all people.
Our church secretary is Rev. Deacon Sue McClelland and she uses her gifts to give our children’s message during worship before they head to Sunday School.
